Bald Man Reveals Truth
about Retail Men's Hairpieces and Women's Wigs!

Bruce is the Founder of MHRW INTERNATIONAL
 .

Retailers Charging upto US$9,000 for Men's Hairpieces and Women's Wigs.

Most retail hair salon's throughout the world and at the Hair Club for Men in the United States are charging from several hundred dollars to over US$9,000 for hairpieces and wigs.

What retailers are not sharing with their customer's is the fact that they are paying just US$50 to US$200 for the hairpieces and wigs they sell. As a rule, in the retail business world it is desirerable to obtain the highest profit margin possible for merchandise, but the norm is usually around 100% markup on merchandise. In the hairpiece and wig industry, retailers enjoy profit margins that range from several hundred to several thousand percent depending upon the quality of their products.

What the Hair Club for Men does not explain to their customer's is the fact that they make their hairpieces for less then US$50. They tell them that their hairpieces are made with 100% human hair, but they fail to mention that it is the poorest quality Asian hair available and that it does not, under normal conditions last much longer then three months.

Customer's are paying around US$350 a month for a Hair Club Plan of which offers up to six Asian hair hairpieces annually. It is easy to understand why few customer's sign up a second time for this Plan when it's costing them over US$4000 a year for very poor quality hairpieces.

The hairpiece 'Bruce' is wearing; he created for under $160.00! (made with human hair.)

What the general public is not aware of is how much HMC pays for these hairpieces and wigs. To create a custom hairpiece or wig all that is needed is a US$20 foundation (hairpiece base) and an ounce of hair worth from $25.00 (for synthetic hair) or around $130.00 for human hair.

There are three types of bulk (used for ventilating) hair (Synthetic, Asian, or Italian) commonly used for creating men's hairpieces or women's wigs. The least expensive of them is synthetic hair, however, as a rule it is not as natural looking as human hair. Asian hair is less expensive than Italian hair, however, it like synthetic hair does not compare with the quality of natural Italian hair.

The cost for hair varies based upon the type, quantity, and length. Human hair is available in lengths ranging from 8 inches to 26 inches long, however, synthetic hair is available from 8 inches to almost any length desired . Synthetic hair cost from US$27 an ounce (8" length) to US$36 an ounce (26" length); Asian hair cost from US$82 an ounce (8" length) to US$130 an ounce (26" length). Italian hair cost from US$132 an ounce (8" length) to US$180 an ounce (26" length) with discounts when ordered in quantities of more then one ounce.

When creating a basic men's hairpiece (toupee) using Italian hair (10" length) the total cost for the hair and a foundation totals less then US$160. It is easy to understand why bald men and women are considering creating their own custom hairpieces and wigs when they can save thousands of dollars on each hairpiece they create.
